The Avett Brothers are from North Carolina. In fact, they would make a great road trip companion. Start with the old albums (try “Emotionalism”, nearly damn perfect) and then move to the newer Rick Rubin produced stuff.

I am a fellow one of those lucky ones just like you. Didn’t have the same tumor (mine was in my Thyroid and another in my stomach) 4 surgeries later I am still here to tell my tale. Congratulations on your recovery.

I’ve never heard of this kind of tumor. Thank you for letting people know about it. I’m sorry you had to go through this. I had a non-cancerous but destructive tumor in my foot and was stuck in a hospital bed in my house for many months. Blogger Ellie sent me over here to read your blog!
